Guocheng Ma Fang Unveils New Wool-Bamboo-Nylon Blend, Targeting Premium Comfort and Durability

Release Date : 2026.09.11

Guocheng Ma Fang, a Zhejiang-based textile manufacturer, has introduced a new custom fabric that blends wool, bamboo fiber, and nylon, positioning the material as a dual solution for luxury texture and everyday wearability.

The fabric, listed under item code SD2605267-1, is composed of a 49/44/7 wool-bamboo fiber-nylon ratio and constructed with an air-layer knit structure. It is currently available in light grey, with a fabric width of 145cm and a weight of 310g/m².

Natural Fibers, Complementary Strengths

According to the company, the pairing of wool and bamboo fiber was designed to combine the best properties of both natural materials. Wool's natural crimped fiber structure gives the fabric strong insulation while keeping it soft and lightweight against the body. Bamboo fiber, sourced from natural bamboo material, contributes a surface covered in micro-pores that the company says allows for moisture absorption and breathability many times greater than cotton — while also offering natural antibacterial and odor-resistant properties suited for garments worn close to the skin.

Nylon Reinforcement for Durability

To address common durability concerns in wool-blend fabrics, the manufacturer incorporated nylon fiber into the weave. The company states this addition significantly increases the fabric's tensile strength and abrasion resistance, reducing pilling even after repeated wear and washing. Nylon's elastic recovery properties also help the fabric spring back into shape after stretching, which Guocheng Ma Fang says minimizes long-term deformation in finished garments — a benefit it highlights for both manufacturers and apparel brands looking to reduce after-sales issues.

Three-Layer Air Structure for Warmth Without Bulk

A key feature of the new fabric is its three-layer air-pocket construction, which creates stable insulating air pockets within the material. The company says this structure delivers warmth performance well beyond standard single-layer fabrics, while keeping overall thickness controlled — allowing finished garments to stay warm without adding visual bulk.

Applications and Availability

Guocheng Ma Fang says the fabric is suited for a range of garment types, including coats, jackets, skirts, wide-leg trousers, and dresses. The company is offering the material for custom orders and is inviting apparel brands and manufacturers to request samples through its dedicated client service channel.
